In the 1841 census there were 11 people in the townland and just 1 house and there are no returns for the 1851 census. The 1840 map shows 2 houses or outbuildings. In the 1847 -64 Griffith’s Valuation there were no houses 2 landholders and 15 acres of the townland was in Ballinlough lake (see Ballinlough townland). There are no returns for the 1901 and 1911 census.
